The Claras are Sussex-based folk duo Clare McGlone and Claire Rakich.
Clare was born into a musical Irish family and spent years as a soul and blues singer before turning to the harp, while Claire is a folk singer, songwriter, and folklorist. Performing traditional songs, evocative originals, and the occasional left-field cover, The Claras are rapidly making a name for themselves. Their story-songs include ghosts, blackbirds, lost villages and crossroads, and their unique partnership combines ethereal harp, compelling harmonies, and down-to-earth yarns.
